This is a way cool, very midcentury modernist-style sterling artisan ring with double oval settings of polished unakite, a uniquely colored red and green-veined jasper stone. Between each stone trails a winding series of bead-like sterling details, adding movement and interest to an otherwise pretty minimalist style. The boomerang-shaped plate adds a bit of 50s atomic flair. It sits on the rings three-band body, which taper closer together at the bottom of the ring. The negative space between the bands is another beautiful and simple design feature of this piece.
This ring is in excellent vintage condition with age-appropriate wear. It has recently been lightly polished, but left with some patina for the vintage look, though it could certainly be brightened and polished more if you wish. The stones are in great vintage condition. The sterling is signed by the artist but it a crude signature and not quite legible.
This ring is quite small, great as a pinky finger ring or for someone with slender hands. It is a US size 4 1/4. The face of the ring with the stones and sterling detail measures about 3/4 inch wide in total.
