This is the only one of these I have ever seen! It is a green Murano glass Mary Gregory painted teapot or pitcher. It has a rich royal green hue in the body of the piece and the lid. The spout is a lighter shade of green, rather dark where it meets the body....then increasingly lighter as it gets to the tip of the spout. The handle and tip of the lid are clear glass. The scene on one side is a your girl wearing a sweet dress and apron gathering berries or flowers and placing them in her basket. On the other side we see a boy in knickers and a jacket with a flute walking among the foliage. It's in excellent condition with only a few fleabites in the glass around the interior tip of the spout. The lid and top of the teapot/ pitcher are virtually perfect. There is a spider like mark at the top of the handle where it meets the teapot, but this appears to be in the making of the piece or perhaps a method of attaching the top of the handle. You can't feel it with your fingers inside or outside, but none the less it is there, so we posted photos and perhaps you can be the judge. The piece still retains the old Murano Italy sticker right next to pontil mark on the base. It measures 7 " high and 6" wide. It's a fabulous collectible item.
