This is a vintage 100% silk mikado jersey dress made in France in the late 1970s by textile house Leonard of Paris. Leonard is known for their use of bold floral and kaleidoscopic prints and was a contemporary of Italian design house Pucci. This dress is in a hard to find impressionist watercolor print, with a beautiful combination of pinks, blues, and yellows. Reminiscent of Monet's waterlilies, the print is presented in a chic 70s silhouette with sheer bishop sleeves and a geometric sweetheart neckline with seafood green trim. The versatile silk scarf can be worn many ways, or used as a tie-belt. The scarf is signed "Leonard." This dress is in great vintage condition, with minor fading to the light blue along the trim, probably from sun exposure.
