Antique Ornate Copper Tinted Wood Picture Frame

This is an antique copper tinted wooden picture frame. It is ornately decorated with floral and foliate motifs and ribbing. There are areas of color shade variations as shown, as would be expected naturally in an antique. At some point many years ago it was reinforced on the back with mending plates. They have worked well and it is perfectly sturdy.The outside dimensions are
26"x 29 7/8". As is, it will accept a stretchered canvas that is 16" x 20" with about 1/4" of play in each direction. The image reveal is 16 1/4" x 20 1/4".
