This is an exquisite antique Konishiroku Tokyo Field Camera from the early 1900s. The camera is a wood frame, that folds and collapses into a carrying case, with metal hinge mechanism and details, and the original intact fabric bellows. This large format camera is a rare and collectible piece, especially in such excellent condition. Konishiroku was founded in Japan in 1873, and is the predecessor of what came to be the now household name camera company Konica.
This camera is in excellent antique condition with age-appropriate wear. The black fabric drape was most likely replaced with new fabric at some point. There is some wear to the leather handle as shown.
It measures 9 1/2 inches wide, 8 inches deep, and 10 inches tall.
