This is a delicate and expressive Stuart Nye dogwood blossom pin or brooch from the 1950s. Stuart Nye was known for his realistic renderings of florals and natural imagery in his silver jewelry, since he began the studio in the 1930s. This piece features two equal and opposite silver swirls, forming an open wirework structure upon which sit two four-petaled dogwood blossoms, one on each end. For the Victorians, the dogwood blossom was a signal of love. It is also a symbol of strength, reliability, and resilience. Perfect if you want to wear a little extra strength with you throughout the day, or wonderful as a gift for someone whose loving relationship had endured with you over time.

This pin is in excellent vintage condition with age-appropriate wear, namely some patina to the flower petals that is could certainly be shined up to sparkle if the wearer prefers a brighter look.

It measures 2 inches wide and 1 1/2 inches tall.
