Antique Victorian Engraved 10k Gold Wide Hinged Bracelet with Unique Twisted Motif Applique and Mother of Pearl Inlay, Paste Rhinestone Details

This is an absolutely stunning and very unique circa Victorian era 10k yellow gold hinged bracelet. It is etched with a delicate motif on either side flanking the main applique detail, giving texture and a romantic, feminine feel to further contribute to its desirable antique style. The bracelet's main feature is the twisted, angular gold applique attached to the top of the piece. It is so interesting in shape and style, and adds a modern-leaning energy to the piece. The applique features a floral-shaped, crown-set circlet of clear paste stones, encircling a lovely mother of pearl center inlay. On either side of the applique is a small ruby red paste stone.

The bracelet is hinged on one side and features a tongue in groove slide closure on the other side. The closure functions well, though there is a bit of a bent area on the interior where the slide connects, as pictured.

This piece is in excellent antique condition with age-appropriate wear and patina. Please be aware that there is some exaggeration of color and patina in our photographs so as to accurately emphasize the condition, and it is not so noticeably patinated in reality, and the color is a bit more mellow. There are a few areas of minor dents and misshapen areas, only noticeable under scrutiny, and mainly on the back of the piece so not very noticeable when worn. Finally, there was at one time a safety chain on the bracelet but it is no longer present, as you can see in the photo set.

It measures 7 1/4 inches around in interior circumference. It is 1 inch thick.
