This is a stunning antique Victorian era carved cameo brooch and pendant. It is a large oval carved shell cameo pendant in a delicate, twisted ribbon style sterling setting. The cameo is a traditional, delicious sunset pink-tone shell, and the silhouette of the figure is matte white. It depicts a feminine Victorian-era figure in profile, with her gaze directed to the side over her shoulder. There is a dogwood or pansy flower detail sitting right on her shoulder.

The pendant is in excellent antique condition with age-appropriate wear and patina. The back features a rollover clasped pin in functioning condition, so it can be worn as either a pendant or a brooch.

The pendant has a hang length of 1 3/4 inches long, and the cameo is 1 1/4 inches wide.
