This is an outstanding example of a brooch from the Jungle Book jewelry collection by Alexander Korda. It measures 3 1/4" high x 2 1/4" wide. This brooch is in the image of a Native and he is donning a substantial tribal headpiece which is simulated ivory made to resemble elephant tusks. The ivory and the other simulated turquoise is all plastic, but looks amazingly real! The heavy gold tone plating is in wonderful condition and intact. The only minor issue with this piece is there is a slight ding on the tip of his nose which is shown in the photos. The piece is from c. 1940's and is signed Alexander Korda on the back.
