This Miriam Haskell set is one of the favorites in the shop. It's our nature lover's set with wooden round beads mixed together with mother of pearl look beading. You can find this piece in The beautiful book titled Miriam Haskell Jewelry by Cathy Gordon and Sheila Pamfiloff edition 2. A variation of this necklace is on page 171 shown in white glass beads. This one is done in wood beads and mother of pearl simulated beads. They refer to it as an early 1950's piece. It is unique in it's design and also in the amazing craftsmanship. Each bead is attached by hand with a brass hoop and pin. This is why these two pieces have managed to stay intact over time. The set is unsigned with no hang tags. Both pieces are in excellent condition with baubly beads going every which way. The closure on the bracelet does not appear to be original, but it is in good working order. The necklace is quite long measuring 30.5" long. If you have a very petite neck, you can wrap it twice. The bracelet measures 7" long.
