These bees are the cutest little bees you've ever seen. They are a Katz design for Coro Craft c. 1940's. You can either wear the bees together as a pin or you can disassemble the bees from the pin mechanism and voila....you have two bee fur clips! The setting is comprised of gold over sterling and the bees are decorated with intricate enameling and some rhinestones. The eyes are red rhinestones and the wings and body of the bees contain clear rhinestones. Sadly one bee is missing three rhinestones on his left wing (which doesn't show at all when the pin is assembled) and the other bee is missing one stone from the right wing. Also there is some wear to the edges of enameling on the bees wings, but even with that, they are fabulous! They are marked on the back Coro Craft, sterling and a patent #1798867. A great addition to your vintage jewelry collection.
They measure 2 3/4" long x 1 3/4" high.
