This is a special vintage artisan Hopi Native American southwestern US sterling silver necklace, with figures of the Kokopelli deity linked in a long charm-style chain. The strands meet in the middle where an articulated stamped bear shaped medallion hangs. Each sterling figure features 3-4 polished stone cabochons, inlaid in raised sterling borders, of what we determine to by blue chalcedony, red agate, mother of pearl, and purple agate. These semi-precious stones are beautiful complements of each other, and stand out with the sterling to make an incredible piece of statement jewelry.
The necklace is in great vintage condition with some age-appropriate wear, namely some minor patina consistent with age that gives it a beautiful vintage integrity, as well as a crack in the red agate cabochon on the bear charm, visible in photos. This is noticeable under scrutiny.
It measures 21 inches long end to end, and the bib/pendant area has about a 3 inch hang length.
