This is a vintage oil painting on stretched canvas by Texas artist Antonio Candelas. The painting is signed on the lower right hand corner "Candelas" and depicts an abstract wild flower display in a vase. The painting has a nice texture and it measures 3 feet tall by 2 feet wide, and protrudes an inch off the wall.
About the artist: Antonio was born in Zacatecas, Mexico 1938. He studied at the Escuela National Artes Plasticas and The Instituto Nacional de Bellas Artest Mexico. He has held shows in San Marcos, Aguascalientes: Theater Calderon in Zacatecas, Galeries Soriano, Mexico and Chicago Museum of Science & Industry.
