Rare 26 inch "Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad" Gallery Clock Case with 18 inch Dial, and Factory Dated 1913-J !
Fantastic Golden Oak Gallery Clock Case with "Pittsburgh Lake Erie Railroad" Painted Logo on the Metal Dial with gold washed wood bezel. Fifteen Day Time-Only Brass Movement is also marked ; Die Stamped "86-U" with the Seth Thomas Circled Diamond Logo, and Made in USA.
Condition : Very Fine Condition with a Golden Oak Clock Case which only has 2 bruises on the edge of the round wood frame at
the 2 & 8 o'clock positions. Very fine "Pittsburgh Lake Erie Railroad" Painted Logo on the Metal Dial with gold washed wood bezel.
Paper Label inside is also "Pittsburgh & Lake Erie Railroad" operational instructions is pasted inside the Upper Wood Door Frame.
Backboard of case is Factory Stencil Dated in faint black , but legible "1913-J" as seen in the last photo.
Movement has been Ultrasonically Cleaned, then Re-Oiled and is keeping good time since 7-09-19.
