Very Fine Condition for a Waterbury Perpetual "Calendar No. 34" Model in an Oak Case, Patented 1889 but Catalog circa 1893 !!!
Time Dial is 12 inches across, and the Calendar Dial is 10 inches in diameter. Clock mechanism has a large Cam Lobe on the rear side, which a Lever Arm drops-off of between Midnight & 1:00 AM. and Advances the Calendar forward.
Manufacturer by the "Waterbury Clock Co. in Waterbury,Conn. U.S.A." Model is a Calendar No. 34 with Patent Date of "July 30th, 1889" on the Calendar Dial. Remnants of 2 Factory Paper Labels are laminated on the backboard, as seen in the last photo. Dials are Bright and Legible. There is a small sliver of paint chipped at the bottom of the time dial, as seen in the Close-Up Photo.
Brass 8 Day Clock Movement has been Ultrasonically Cleaned with Beat & Speed Calibrated on 12-14-18.
Calendar Mechanism has been Removed, Cleaned, left Dry, and is currently working fine.
(Manufacturers demand that Calendar Brass Movements parts remain Void of any Oils)
