"E" was : Andrew R. Byerly , one signature on envelope. Colonel was : E. (Emlen) Franklin, signature on one of the Envelopes. ________________________________________ Background Homestead ; Honey Brook, Chester County,Pa. Corresponded with Miss Rebecca M. Buchanan, his Sister. He was a Student at Millersville University, in Lancaster County when enlisted. I believe he was a student of theology for Presbyterian Church.
