Early "Union Pacific" Railway Seth Thomas #2 Regulator Clock in a Pristine Refinished Walnut Case !!! Last Walnut Cases were made in 1913, also the first year for the 36 inch Lengths.

3 Piece Bottom Cases were manufactured between 1880 and 1922. However the 36 inch longer cases started in 1913 and ended the 3 piece bottoms in 1922. Movement is All Original with early Pinned Hands, 3 Post Holes to fasten the Movement onto the 3 Pins of the Most Unusual cast iron Support Bracket. (It has also been estimated that only 5% of Seth Thomas Model #2 Railroad Clocks had Walnut Wood Cases)

2 Railroad property indicators as follows ; Has the all important "Union Pacific Printed Instruction Paper Label" on the interior right side of the case, as seen in the 5th close up photo. Hand Painted Seth Thomas Zinc Metal Dial with the "Union Pacific" Shield might be a later 1929 replacement due to the Arabic Numerals. (but there are exceptions to every rule, Arabic was also a custom order pre-1929)

Solid Walnut Case with Walnut Veneered Round Wood Bezel. This Clock is "Solid as a Rock" with a Tight Hinged Door and Lock, and is Keeping Accurate Time. Also retains it's Seth Thomas Factory Black Paper Label on the interior bottom.

Movement was found Clean, Pallets have been Polished, all bushings Re-oiled and Beat Set on 10-11-16.

Measures Standard : Overall 36 inches Long, 15 1/2 inches Wide at Wood Bezel Dial, and is 5 1/4 inches Deep.
