"Reeds Tonic" Advertising Clock made by Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. complete with a marked Key !!! Clock is Circa 1910 to 1930.
The advertising on this clock is 100% Authentic. This on a standard 6 1/2 inch Tin Dial Pan. Reverse Gold Painted advertising on the back of the Old Wavy Glass Tablet. (as seen in the last reflective photo)
Clock case appears to have a nice Orange varnish or Stained finish, creating the rich Olden Oak Patina on the softwood case.
Original Factory Paper Label Marked "No. 3027" from the "Wm. L. Gilbert Clock Co. * Winsted,Conn. USA." complete on the back.
Rich Brass Patina on the 8 Day Time & Strike spring driven movement is in Very Fine Condition, and has a coiled gong which strikes the correct times on the Hour. Movement has been removed, inspected, and re-oiled on 12-19-15. Movement is Working and has been keeping accurate time.
Measures : Overall 20 inches High. Measurement at the top Cornice Molding is 9 3/4 inches Wide and 4 1/2 inches Deep.
