Strongest Tinsmith "Gigging Torch" I have ever seen Circa 1870 - 1900 ! Quite the conversation Piece for the Man Cave.
Super "Double Torch" was Tinsmith made out of Heavy Gauge Tin or Sheet Iron . Funnel Shaped top was designed to assist pouring in the Burning Oil or Grease. Both Spouts are Wick Tubes for lighting. Torch was used while mounted onto a Square Wooden Shaft Pole to extend out in front of boats while Hunting Frogs at the edges of ponds & Lakes. Commonly harvested wildlife also include freshwater suckers, saltwater flounder.
No Rust Holes.
Measures : 14 inches Wide at the 2 torch spouts, and 6 7/8 inches High. Square shaft support opening is 1 1/4 inches tight. Wick tube openings are 7/8 inches in diameter.
