Marked "PRR #3467" Property Number for this Pennsylvania Railroad Seth Thomas # 2 Wall Regulator Clock in Red Oak Finish !!! This Case is 35 1/2 inches long and was only made between the years 1939 to 1945.

Seth Thomas No. 2 Regulator Attributes : The Solid Brass "8 Day Movement" with "Retaining Power" has 4 Post constructed Trapezoid Movement which is unmarked. Oak Case with Round Wood Dial Bezel has naturally turned a slightly darker Reddish Oak with age, but has not faded or alligator skinned from direct Sunlight. This Clock is "Solid as a Rock" with a Tight Hinged Door & catch, with 2 snapping Ball Bearing Door catches top & bottom. It is Keeping Accurate Time. Also retains it's Seth Thomas Factory Paper Label on the back board. One Piece Bottom case. Post 1929 Arabic Numerals on Dial, with correct Spade Hands.
Technical notes on back of clock : Seth Thomas Paper Label is Rubber Stamped "4913" and there is also an ink inscription "R-1874 / 82" on back board.
Condition : Very Fine Overall Condition, and the Movement is still excellent since Railroad Clocks were Maintained on a Regular Basis for Accuracy. Movement has been Removed, inspected, Hand Cleaned, and re-oiled on 5-16-16. There are a couple small paint drips on the back board, I carefully cleaned the painted dial without washing off, as seen by the dirty sections remaining between the original "PRR and Number" stenciled areas. there is a ding on the left side of the brass pendulum bob.
Measures Standard Size : Overall 35 1/2 inches Long, 15 3/4 inches Wide at Wood Bezel Dial, and is 5 1/2 inches Deep.
