Electrified Cranberry Oil Lamp with Cut Side Panels & Acid Etched Decorated "Cranberry to Clear" Shade !!! English "Hinks Type" Oil Lamp with All Silver Plated Brass Stem Column with Corinthian Top Capitol, Collar and Connector Components Circa 1890. Probably electrified in the 1920's due to it's white cloth covered Chord, white In-Line switch, and original brown Bake-A-Lite Plastic Plug.
Could easily be converted back to an Oil Lamp by unscrewing & replacing the electrified bulb socket with another Duplex Burner & Wicks.
Cranberry Glass Fount has a Drip-Lip Top, and 14 Cut Panels on the outside perimeter. Ruffled Top Shade has a standard 4 inch fitter. Naturally worn and tarnished silver plate on the stem and base.
Measures : Overall 32 1/2 inches high from base to top of Chimney. Lamp alone is 19 1/2 inches from base to Silver Plated Collar, and 28 inches High from base to top of Shade.
