Hand Dovetailed Primitive Pine Kitchen Utensil Tray Circa 1850 to 1870 !!!
Bottom Board has early Straight saw cut marks which is correct, versus the later Circular saw blade cut marks. Normal Orange Varnish Finish over softwood pine, with a normal wear pattern inside from Sharp Fork & Knife Points. Simple Frame Design with Arched Sided, Finger Loop Holes for lifting out of a Drawer, and a slight decorative Hump in the Central Divider. There is only One 5 inch wood fracture in one of the bottom boards from normal age shrinkage, due to pulling between nailed ends. As seen in the last 2 top & bottom photos.
Measures : 16 inches Long, 10 inches Wide, and 3 1/8 inches High at center Finger Loop Holes.
