Super Rare Patriotic #1 size Oil Lamp with "Draped Tassels & Stars" Centennial Pattern Circa 1876 !!! Faint Sun Purple Tint from years of exposure to sunlight, and lots of EAPG Swirls and Straw marks in the glass.
The "Drapes and Tassels" are Held up with the "Dart or Spears" as panel separators. Has an honest frosty wear pattern underneath the base.
#1 Brass Queen Ann Burner is Polished and Thumbwheel marked ; "Scoville MFG. Co. Made in USA"
Condition : Lamp has No Cracks Chips, or Flea Bites, just one smooth Flake off of one sharp Corner of the Hex Base. Nice #1 size Pie Crust Chimney is in Very Fine Condition.
Measurements : Lamp alone is 7 3/4 inches high from base to top of collar. Hex Base is 4 1/8 inches across. Overall lamp is 15 3/4 inches high from base to top of Wavy Pie Crust Chimney.
Weight : 1 pound and 10.9 ounces.
Rarity : Only known example I've been able to find with the "Stars" above the Draped Tassels Pattern in this size. I also have the other only known Zero Size also listed as my item #4860
Similar to the more common "Sawtooth & Swag" Pattern seen in Book Ref.;
