Atterbury "Chapman" pattern Oil Lamp with patented 1868 Screw Connector complete with 1867 Prong Burner !!!
Zero size Brass Burner could use a little cleaning , but it is an early Type Prong Burner containing the "Tear Drop Cut-Outs" and the Patent Dated Thumbwheel which is clearly marked ; "VENUS * Dec.10, 1867"
Undamaged Zero size Chimney has a slight Sun Purple Tint. New Wick is included.
Lamp base has normal heat checks in the base caused by the cooling process during production. They appear to be black hairlines.
Overall height is 16 inches. Lamp alone is 9 1/4 inches high from base to top of collar. Lamp base is three and three-quarter inches by three and three-quarter inches.
Weight : 1 pound and 13.5 ounces.
