Free Blown Decanter with Cut Sun-Burst Stopper Circa 1820 to 1860 !!!
Decanter is made of Quality Flint Glass with Two Applied Glass Rings on the Neck, and a large Polished Pontil mark on the Bottom. Glows a Pale Green like many Flint Glass pieces from the Period with a high Lead Content. Possibly Early Sandwich Glass due to the Sandy Tinted color of the Glass, which was present in operations, prior to them importing better Sand from New Jersey in barges.
Condition : Decanter is in Excellent Condition with an honest frosty wear ringed pattern on the Bottom. The Blown Molded Glass Polished Stopper is also in excellent condition.
Measurements : Measures 7 1/4 Inches from Base to top of the Decanter Stopper, 6 1/2 inches from the base to the top of the formed Lip. The Base diameter is 3 Inches Across.
