Pre Civil War Period Cut "Flower & Vine" Pattern Blown/Molded Glass Fount with a Marble Base Circa 1850's to 1860 !!! has an early brass collar with two incised rings. Has a brass bell stem, with the normal square marble base.
Used Flange Lip Burner is marked "Holmes, Booth, Hayden*Pat. 1860" which has a "Rare Brass Chimney Adapter" mounted to avoid using the broken off set-screw. Now it holds a normal Straight Base Fitter Chimney with the 3 Brass Prongs.
Pearl Top Chimney is factory acid etch marked ; "Trade Mark * Rock Glass * Made in the US of America"
Measurements : Stands 7 inches from base to top of brass collar, with a 3 1/2 inch square marble base. Overall stands 15 inches high.
Weight : 2 pound and 0.3 ounces.
