Authentic "Eli Terry & Sons Pillar & Scroll Clock" with near mint Original Mahogany Finish Circa 1835 !!!
Complete authentic original Finish on the Mahogany Case, with the exception of the Top Wood Crest where the veneer has been professionally restored. Only the originals have curved-backwards due to the effects of Thin Wood being sealed on one side & drying out over the Years.
The original Pattern on the Bottom Reverse Painted "Plantation House & Slave Shack" with real gold leaf "Pine Tree Border" was broken and has been professionally reproduced by Artist Lee Davis of York, Pa. on this antique glass.
Retains its Factory Paper label inside the case, rare tin dust plate on the reverse of the case over the movement. Original Artist Floral Decorated Wood Dial, and the cast-iron 3.8 pound Weights. All 3 matching Brass Finials which weigh between 2.5 to 2.6 ounces each.
Working lock with new brass key.
Measurements ; Stands 30 7/8 inches High, 17 1/4 inches Wide, and 4 1/2 inches Deep.
Weights over 10 Pounds.
Time side is currently working on this Original 30 Hour Wood Movement, but the Strike side releases erratically without always stopping at the correct number of times. (needs a lever adjustment, but I no longer have a wood movement clock repairman)
You have my personal satisfaction guarantee on this clock for the standard Ruby Lane 3 Day inspection Period with a "No questions asked item refund" Policy. (less shipping fees, not included)
Shipping : Will ship out First Business Day following a Sunday, since it is currently "On Display" in an Antique Mall in Adamstown, Pa. Or could be picked Up in person on a Sunday.
