RARE Pair of Largest "Clarissa" Banquet Oil Lamps with their Original SHADES !!! AKA the "Diamond Sawtooth and Sheath" Pattern is probably the most elegant EAPG produced Oil Lamps Circa 1880 to 1900. Brilliant Fire Polished Glass Tops of Shades and Tops of Founts.
Finding one Banquet Oil Lamp with a Shade is Lucky, to find an Undamaged Pair with Original Shades is unheard of.
Brass Collars also matching both Brass Burners, and are Thumbwheel marked as follows : "CLIMAX * Made in USA." Unused Burners with Wicks have Never been Fired, or Lit.
Condition : All Glass appears to be in Mint Condition, as produced, with no damages found, not even a flea bite.
Measurements : Overall Height is 26 inches from the Base to top of Chimneys, 22 1/2 inches from base to top of Shades, and Lamps alone are 15 1/2 inches from Base to top of brass Collars. Bases are 5 3/4 inches Square.
Each Lamp Weighs : 8 Pounds and 11 Ounces. (combined weight is 17 Pounds and 6 Ounces for lamps plus another 7 Pounds for double boxing = 24 Pounds)
