Hobb's Patent Dated "May 24th, 1870" Die Stamped on the Brass Crimp Connector on a "Petals" Pattern Oil Lamp Fount, with Original Gold Trace Decorations on White Glass Base.
Condition : Undamaged Gold Trimmed Milk White Glass Base, one or two micro flea bites on the base. Early Glass Fount has normal EAPG Straws marks, surface scuffs. Used #1 Fancy Pie Crust Top Chimney with 2 flea bites on bottom. Used # 1 High Dome Burner thumbwheel marked ; "WBG. Co. * El Dorado"
Measurements : Overall 16 1/2 inches High, with a 3 1/2 inch Square Base. Lamp alone stands 8 3/8 inches from base to top of original brass collar.
Weight : 1 Pounds and 14.2 Ounces complete.
