Early Blown & Cut Sandwich Glass Fluid Lamp Fount with Fluid Burner Circa 1835 to 1855 !!!
Description : Two part glass lamp has a Blown Glass Fount, on a "Double Hex" Pressed Glass Stem Base. The Cylindrical Fount was then Cut with Top & Bottom Flutes, and is joined to the Base with a "Common Disk" Glass Wafer.
Condition : Overall Very Fine Condition for it's age with only one Glass Flake at the corner of the Square base, as seen in the last close-up photo. Looks like the brass collar has been re-pasted or possibly replaced.
Measurements : Lamp alone is 10 inches High, 3 1/8 inches square base, and overall 12 1/4 inches from base to top of burner tube.
Weight : 2 Pound and 4.6 Ounces.
