Cobalt Blue Blown Glass Dresser Jar & Stopper with "Sterling" Silver Cover !!! Circa 1870 to 1880's. By the 1890's Free Blown Glass was pretty obsolete.
Clearly marked "STERLING" on the Silver capped Cobalt Blue Glass Stopper. Jar is free Blown with a perfectly formed fire polished lip with an inside polished neck. The lower Pontil scar has been Polished Out, and engraved with a ".30" to match the same size of the engraved ".30" Stopper .
Jar & Stopper Stands Overall 5 3/4 inches High from base to top of stopper, 2 1/8 inches in diameter, and 4 1/8 inches High without the stopper.
