Hobb's Oil Lamp with Zero burner & Chimney Circa 1875 !
All original "Loop & Rib Band" Fount pattern, with Patent dated May 24th,1875 John H. Hobb's Brass Clinch Connector & Milk White Pedestal Base.
Mint Un-used zero size "Eldorado" Burner with normal age spots. Marked Thumbwheel reads : "WBG. Corp. * Eldorado"
Mint Un-used zero size "Pearl Top Chimney" is crystal clear with hand tooled fitter glass swirls.
Condition : Overall Fine condition, with normal wiggle in the brass clinch connector. Almost impossible to separate . Overall Priced accordingly. New Wick is included.
Lamp alone is 9 inches High, and 4 inches square at Base. Stands Overall 15 3/4 inches High from base to top of Chimney.
Weighs : 1 Pounds ,and 11.6 Ounces.
Historical Note : Hobb's, Brockunier & Company Patented the Design for the Brass Clinch Connector in May 25, 1875 with Matching indentations in both the Fount & Base Glass Pegs.
