Near Mint condition "Cleopatra" with wings under temple marked Water with Excellent Color !!! No chips on the Spout or Handle, none found Better. Bottom is marked "Cleopatra" with a number "17" touch-mark. Reddish/Pink Transfer-Ware type decoration with artist hand colored details. Circa 1850 to 1870.
EARLY Staffordshire pitcher with fabulous hand colored details ! Shows temple scene with lush plants & flowers on both sides, and floral ornate pattern around inside and outside of the top border, hand painted on flowers & leafs with vibrant green, blue & golden yellow.
Produced by Francis Morley & Co., of Shelton, Staffordshire, England.
Stands 8 1/2 inches High from base to top of spout, with 5 5/8 inches across the bottom.
