Rare Early Fluid Lamp with "Prism" Pattern and Scalloped Octagonal Base with an Original Tall Brass Camphene Burner !!!
Pressed Glass Top Fount & Stem Base are correctly joined with the Molten Glass Wafer. Circa 1835 to 1855.
Most camphene burners used camphene fluid which would be the equivalent of high test 93 octane gasoline.
Lamp Stands 10 1/4 inches high, and overall 12 3/4 inches from base to top of Burner Tube.
