Rare Shelf Clamping Oil Lamp with a #1 Burner & Mint Snapp Chimney. Circa 1860 to 1880.
Lamp is Tin with a Cast Metal Handel with an internal Tension Spring Device for griping a shelf ledge or workbench.
Burner also has a spring tension device for griping the Snapp Chimney :
Chimney is a Mint Unused #1 and marked "Snapp" on Chimney Flue.
Condition : Lamp is in great condition with original paint with normal wear from use.
Measurements : Lamp Stands 4 1/2 inches High from Base to top of Collar, and measures 5 5/8 inches across the Base. Overall Lamp is 12 3/8 inches High from the Base to Top of Chimney.
Weight : 1 Pound 2.9 Ounces.
