Unmarked, but strongly Attributed to "Blenko Art Studio" Circa Pre-1983. The company has been in business for over 100 years. Named Blenko since 1930, and still is producing in Milton,WV. Still offering Clear Blown Glass Hat versions, but presently only 7 1/2 inches tall.
Blenko Studio Historical Notes : Established in 1893 when William J. Blenko came to America from England with Visions of Mouth Blown Glass for the American Market place. He started a company under the name of "Eureka Glass Works" in 1921. Then after a few failures in the Depression, changed the name to "Blenko" in 1930. Became the Exclusive Glass Blower for Colonial Williamsburg in 1936 to 1966. Blenko Now offers an On-line Glass Catalog.
Technical Note : The Last photo is for Display Purposes Only, which shows how this large hat has earned it's nick-name as the "Wine Cooler" size. I would say that this is the worst thing that could ever happen to a Blown Glass Hat. The bottom is naturally convex from the Pushed in Iron Pontil, and the Scar could easily begin the Shattering process from downward Pressure of a Wine Bottle & the Sudden Temperature change from adding Ice ! (I used an inside coaster & paper towel for safety in the display photo)
