Findlay "Fish-scale Base & Frosted Fount" Pattern Oil Lamp with Frosted "Wreath & Torch" Chimney ! Circa 1900.
Findlay Catalog Glass Lamps were actually Produced by Dalzell,Gilmore, and Leighton Co. A company foreman, Phillip Ebling designed & patented a lamp-making machine in 1899. Lamps were one piece with the founts extending down into the stem bases. Original Press-fitted Ebling Collar with flared lip base.
The Burner has an embossed "Queen Ann" brass top with a marked thumbwheel : "Made in USA"
The Glass #2 Fine Pie Crust Top Chimney has a weak "Wreath & Torch" stencil Decoration, with No fitter damage whatsoever. See last photo.
The Lamp alone stands 9 3/4 inches from base to top of brass collar, and 18 3/4 inches Overall height from base to top of chimney. Base is 5 inches in diameter.
Weighs a Stable 3 Pounds 5.8 Ounces.
Condition : The EAPG Oil Lamp is in Near Mint Condition with an Honest Wear Pattern, straw marks, and a micro flea bite on the base, which is Hard to see. Nice Working Burner with a New Wick, and an antique replaced Brass Collar.
