Rare marked Cast Iron "Hubley #311" with a Standing "French Peasant Boy".
The Hubley Mfg. Co. Book from 1996 has an identical Figure which shows the boy's "painted open eyes with pupils", and the #310 mark underneath which is described as the "French Peasant Boy" with sloping beret. This Base looks the same, but the Only difference that I can see is that this marked #311 version the boy has his eyes closed and is painted in a thin straight line. (like an oriental boy)
Has the upright Rectangular Matchbox Holder, the round Ashtray receptacle, and the Basket on the Peasant's back shown in the book as a short filter-less Cigarette Holder.
