Hardwood Grip is 3 1/2 inches long, with a removable top Palm knob. The Knob measures 1 1/8 inches in diameter, with a normal flat side to avoid rolling off of the work bench.

Historical Notes Listed : A Graduate of the "Bowman School" in Lancaster on King Street
has informed me that these Engravers were used at the school when he was a student there.
Ezra F. Bowman, Watchmaker,Lancaster,Pennsylvania. 1879-1882
In 1879 Ezra F. Bowman, a successful retail jeweler,ordered some watchmaking machinery to start making watches above his jewelry store. After only 50 Watches being hand Made by 5 Employees,the Watchmaking Tools were sold to J. P. Stevens,in Atlanta, Ga. in 1882.
One Watch Movement came to auction which listed their address location as "1 West End, Lancaster, Pa."
The later Lancaster,Pa. City Directory has Ezra F. Bowman Listed as (Mgr.) Jewelry Store at 12 East Chestnut Street.
Evidently, Ezra continued in the Jewelry & Making some Watchmaker Tools with his Invested Men after closing down the watchmaking business in 1882.
