Historic Schaefferstown,Lebanon County,Pa. 24 Members in Band Group Photo in the Town Square before World War War ! Photo taken Ca. 1911 to 1915.

The Schaefferstown Band was Organized April 22,1870 as Shown on the crystal clear image of their base drum.

The location is in the Main Town Square, Pa. Routes 897 & 501, in front of the General Store with the Street Gas Light on the wooden pole behind them, and facing the Brown Stone Mansion and other Brick Houses across the Street.(Antique Store & all houses still exists)

Although the photo seems pale or Hazy from a bright sunny day, Zoom into the Digitally Scanned Second image of the photo without the Frame & glass, to see the great detail and clarity of this photo !

Original Paper Photo is 9 1/4 by 7 1/4 on the Embossed Borders Studio Board 8 by 10 inch ! The early paper photograph sizes did not have standards back then, but the studio boards started standard sizes to fit the frames.

Photographer backmark stamped : W.S. Anspach (William S. Anspach) Corner of 3rd & Lehman Streets Lebanon,Pa. He only worked in Lebanon,Pa. during the years between 1911 and 1915.

I took the Liberty of Digitally Scanning the Backmark of the photo and printing out a copy to mount on the back of the frame , this way you don't have to take it apart again to show the Photographers Backmark Stamp.

Found in this original gold Period Frame, with the nailed brass corner trim decorations.

A Lebanon County Treasure.
