"New Jersey Central" Railroad Clock made by Seth Thomas Clock Company circa 1917. Rich Original Mahogany Case with a 3 Piece Bottom only made between 1913 to 1922 !!! Normal key scratches around winder keyhole and paint touch ups on the Roman Numerals. Has a Seth Thomas Circled/Diamond Logo on the Zinc metal Dial just above the Blue & White Railroad Logo.
Has 2 Railroad Provenance Verifiers ; The "New Jersey Central" Blue Badge Logo on the Zinc Metal Dial, and the "NJC RR" which is Die Stamped into the lower right side of the case edge, as seen in the photos.
Early "Pinned Hand Shaft & 4 mounting Pins" hold the movement onto the Cast Iron Mounting Bracket. Brass Movement is an unmarked, but not unusual, Model 61 Movement which has been Inspected, and Re-oiled and Beat Set on 4-23-17. earlier Black factory Paper Label on the clock floor.
Measures Standard Size : Overall 36 inches Long, 15 3/4 inches Wide at Wood Bezel Dial, and is 5 1/2 inches Deep.
