Twenty seven poets – English and American – are represented in this leather (or imitation leather) volume published by Franklin Library c.1982, originally published by Viking c.1950.

The book was edited by W.H. Auden and Norman Holmes Pearson, with an Introduction by Auden. It measures 9.4” x 5.8” and features illustrations by Eugene Karlin.

The book is in mint condition with beautiful gold gilt edges and paper end papers.
