Beautiful four drawer Tunbridge Ware cabinet, made of ash, featuring a large floral centerpiece on the cushion shaped top, with a floral mosaic band surrounding it. There are two cabinet doors, each with a very detailed floral panel framed in a band of Tunbridge Ware. The lock works and has its key, and the escutcheons are stick ware. The cabinet stands on ebony bun feet.

Inside there are four drawers, each with a different sample of Tunbridge Ware banding, and a rosewood turned knob. Measuring at the base, the cabinet is approximately 9.7” from side to side, and 7.5” from front to back. At the highest, it is approximately 8.2” in height.

The condition is excellent, except that the left door of the cabinet (separately pictured) appears to have very slight stress lines in the wood running top to bottom; these lines do not appear to have had any effect upon the mosaic. It should also be noted that on some very hard surfaces the cabinet does not sit perfectly flat but has a very slight wobble.

Thanks for visiting.
