Rare and exquisite Tunbridge Ware sewing implement, stickware type, described by the seller to me as a pattern pricker for making lace. I’m not sure what a pattern pricker is, but then I don’t know anything about making lace. Whatever its precise function, it is a beautiful item in every respect.
The top of the implement unscrews to reveal a very sharp needle. There is a cuff or collar where the screw top meets the implement itself. When closed, the piece measures 2.8”.
The condition is perfect.
