First Edition thus of "The Sleeping Beauty" with over 40 illustrations by Arthur Rackham, the brilliant illustrator, in very good condition: published by William Heinemann, London, in 1920; size 4to (10.1" x 7.5"); original cloth-backed pictorial boards in striking pink and black design; one tipped in colored plate by Rackham; four three-color double-page spreads and numerous black and white silhouette illustrations throughout; pictorial silhouette endpapers in green and white; and includes original Heinemann post card to be used for requesting information on further publications.

There is a later added hand inscription on the half-title page and some very light soiling to the front and back covers. In all other respects, it is a beautiful copy of this marvellous book.
