This is a French hard paste porcelain scent perfume bottle, or cologne, that is artist hand painted. The artist signed on the bottom and the signature is Florence Carlascio. The date is circa 1910.
The perfume is 5” high to the top of the stopper and 2 ½” wide at the belly.
The stopper, mouth and lower half of the body are gilded in gold. Above the gold on the bottom is a band of blue ground, over which are painted small pink flowers that look like dogwood blossoms. The blossoms encircle the body of the bottle.
The stopper is original to the bottle. The inside of the stopper is hollow.
There are no chips, nicks, cracks or crazing.
The bottle is not marked as to the maker.
