This is a Bohemian art glass vase. The maker is Pallme-Konig. The date is circa 1900.
The glass is clear with random purple threads; the threads can be felt on top of the glass.
The vase is 8” high and 3 ½” wide at the belly.
The rim is polished flat. There are some pinprick nicks, or fleabites, on both sides of the rim, what the industry calls nibbling. Inside the mouth, in the upper neck, the glass is not smooth, and you can see this from the outside; this part is irregular in shape and it extends into the neck for about an inch; I show a close-up photo. I don’t know if this means the vase is actually a bottle missing a stopper or not; I don’t think a stopper can cause the inner glass to be like that, but who knows.
The outside of the glass has an applied iridescence.
The bottom of the vase is slightly indented and smooth.
The glass has quite a few of real tiny air bubbles.
There are no other nicks, chips or cracks.
