This is a Bohemian Czech art glass vase. The maker is Kralik. The vase is marked on the bottom. The date is circa 1920.
The vase is 8 ½” high and 5 ½” wide at the lower belly.
The glass is green and appears to be opaline. There is an outer clear layer of glass. The side handles look black in some light, and a real dark blue in other types of light; the handles are ridged, with a curlicue at the top, and are applied to the sides of the vase.
The rim is flat. The inside edge feels slightly rough and this can be due to tiny fleabites in the glass due to the glassmaking process.
The bottom is slightly indented and smooth.
The mark on the bottom is an acid stamped circle containing the words Made In Czecho-Slovakia.
There are no chips, nicks or cracks, other than the slight roughness on the inside rim of the mouth.
