This is a Bohemian Czech art glass vase. The maker is Kralik. The date is circa 1900.
The vase is 8 ¼” high and 3 1/8” wide at the bottom.
The shape is bulbous at the bottom and again at the top with a short neck.
The glass shows thick threads over a black casing. The iridescence glimmers with deep colors of green and purple, depending upon the light.
The rim is polished flat and shows some nibbling nicks on the interior and exterior.
The threads continue onto the flat bottom and the bottom shows sitting wear.
There are no nicks, chips or cracks other than the nibbling on the rim.
