This is a set of two Japanese Noritake Nippon hard paste porcelain salt and pepper shakers, minus the original corks. The date is circa 1910.
The shakers are painted similarly with a pink and yellow-gold rose on the front panel, and a few pink roses on a few of the other panels. The tops are embellished with raised enamel.. There is green ground above the roses with more raised enamel designs.
The shakers are 3 ¼” high and 1 ¾” wide.
There is some scuff wear around the bottom edges. There is a little bit of raised enameling missing here and there. There are no chips, nicks cracks or crazing.
The green mark is Noritake followed by Nippon.
This set is original Nippon porcelain, entirely hand painted.
